Clinical History: 

Asymptomatic male. History of bowel cancer         

Radiological Findings: 

There are multiple small soft tissue density nodules projected over both lung fields. However, an inspection of the soft tissues outside the chest reveals that these lesions are seen there as well. This is an example of a patient with neurofibromatosis, there are multiple skin lesions that account for the findings.                    

Differential Diagnosis:                                       

Pulmonary metastases
 Any other cause of multiple small pulmonary nodules 

Principal Diagnosis:                                     

Neurofibromatosis
