Renal transplant calcification


Demographics:

70 years  - Female


Findings:

Partly calcified lesion in the right iliac fossa in keeping with calcified failed renal transplant. 

Atherosclerotic calcification of abdominal and pelvic vessels.


PEARL:

Plan abdominal calcification map for exam prep and clinical practice. Calcification in each quadrant of abdomen:

LUQ: Spleen infarct, Splenic granuloma, Splenic artery calcification (dragon sign), Splenic arterial aneurysmal calcification (Egg shell calcification).

RUQ: Liver Mets (Multiple egg shell calcifications), Gall stones.
